- Harbor 360 Hotel (1412 4th Ave, 4.4 / 982 Google reviews). The most polished hotel on the harbor. Rooms overlook the boat basin and some have balconies with bay views. Indoor pool, fitness center, and a walk-to-everything location. Rates $300 to $500 per night in peak summer, $180 to $250 off-season.
- Seward Gateway Hotel (1115 4th Ave, 4.6 / 198). Smaller newer property two blocks from the harbor. Cleaner rooms product than Harbor 360 but fewer amenities. Rates $250 to $450.
- Breeze Inn Hotel & Motel (303 N Harbor St, 3.9 / 662). Functional rather than elegant. Some rooms include whirlpool tubs, which makes it a useful pick for couples on a budget. Rates $180 to $320.

For the full wilderness option, Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge (4.8 / 63) sits on Fox Island in Resurrection Bay, 12 nautical miles southeast of Seward. Access is by the lodge’s boat, departing from town. The property has rustic log cabins and a central dining lodge, with meals and daily sea kayaking included. This is a two or three-night destination rather than a stopover, because the transit eats a few hours each way.
Rates are all-inclusive at roughly $800 to $1,200 per person per night. Seasonal, mid-May to mid-September. The operator is the Alaska Collection, the same group that runs Denali Cabins and Seward Windsong. For a small-ship alternative, some Kenai Fjords multi-day tours use the lodge as one of their overnight stops.

Seward hotel pricing is driven almost entirely by cruise turnover dates. The pattern:
- Peak cruise days (Saturdays and Sundays, May through September): rates double or triple. Book six to nine months out.
